Biography

My journey started out like many others. Grew up in a small town in West Michigan. Typical middle class family. Divorced parents and lived with my mother with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. We spent summers on Lake Michigan, and winters trying to thaw from the frozen tundra.

From an early early age I knew that I was destined for more. I think it was age 12 that in my belly I knew I was going to be wildly successful. Had a very eventful time in High School earning 9 Varsity letters in 3 sports (Football, Wrestling, Track) & won the 1996 Class A State Football title in Michigan and ranked #14 in the USA Today.

However by the time I hit high school, like most college-bound students… I was left with the question: “What the heck do I do with my life?”

Maybe you can relate.

After settling on a computer career and taking classes in community college, I took class for a year and then quit. I worked for a few years in tool & die until getting fed up and got a degree at a Technical School and majored in Computer Networking Systems.

I ended up working my way up the ladder to become a Senior Technician at a major retail store for 7 years. I was overworked and underpaid. Paid the bills (mostly). But didn’t stir my hearts passion. I was getting no more closer to my life’s purpose.

It all brought me to the spring of 2011, when my friend invited me down to my first MLM presentation.

It amazes me how much people underestimate the power of networking. As a Socialpreneur, its how I live. I hear countless individuals tell me ‘Jimmy I’m not a people person’, ‘Jimmy how is going to networking events going to take my business the next level?’ I put it in the simplest terms possible for them. It’s because we don’t buy products and services, we buy and sell trust.

Communicationg and connecting with people is how you gian that trust. Although networking is one of many criteria, it is one of the most important if not already. I encourage people to get out there and network.
